Comics and Me

So the other day I was told I reminded a few people of Lady Deathstrike from the second X-Men film and the Baroness from the G.I. Joe comics. This excited me to no end because, while I'm not the biggest comic book nerd, I enjoy and appreciate comics, their storylines, and their spinoff cartoons, movies, etc. X-Men is especially one of my faves so the Lady Deathstrike thing...total compliment. My favorite lady superheroes tend to be sassy, smart (which sometimes go hand in hand with crazy), kickass, spunky, vivacious...personality types I think I identified with and wanted to be like (like Rogue from X-Men - not from the movies ). I do really like figures like Jean Grey and Emma Frost  but they are elegant, cool, calm, and collected (except for times like the story arc involving Phoenix)...definitely not me no matter how I tried.
