The title of this post is a nod to the 2009 Sam Mendes film about a couple trying to find a place to put down roots. This blog is a similar sort of effort on my part to find a home for my wandering thoughts. Confronting the challenge of creating and maintaining a blog is both exciting and intimidating, as I'm no silver-tongued Cyrano de Bergerac (a play worth reading!). But be patient! Slogging through my awkward phrasing now will give us an appreciation for my future wonderfully sparkling prose later on (right? right???).
In planning this blog, I didn't want this to be focused on one topic because I'm more of a jack-of-all-trades, master of none. It actually culminated from my desires not to have a daily journal, but more of a one-stop shop for surfing the web. The thought of having RSS feeds from different sources in one sport when I usually have them open in nine-plus tabs AND being able to catalog all my thoughts and inspirations was a thing of beauty to me. So...my latest favorite thing at Anthropologie? Check! The newest exhibit at museums across the globe? Of course! Compiling a bucket list of travel ideas? Definitely!
And for now I'll just leave you with that introduction as I try to think of a fabulous sign-off...
