1. A cute, casual pair of super comfy kicks (keeping in mind many shoes have the unfortunate effect of lengthening my already hideously disproportionate feet). I'm loving texture right now and these neutral grays have enough texture and fun elements about them to keep them from being boring (cute retro olive green lining, distressed rough edging, and seafoam/minty green laces and piping). In order from left to right: Roxy Manchester from Zappos, Roxy Brisas from Buckle, and Simple Carat from Zappos

2. A fantastic umbrella. While I am the proud owner of a hooked handle, plain black umbrella with a nifty hard plastic covering that quickly covers up the wet fabric before brushing up against my dry clothes, sometimes having a quirky fun umbrella or a classic pattern in a different color than black will help brighten a gloomy day. In order from left to right and continuing to the next row: Cath Kidston Superslim Spot Print Umbrella from ASOS, Carnival Umbrella from Fishs Eddy, Italian Style Navy Plaid Umbrella from Umbrellastand.com, and Italian Style 3-Tone Purple Golf Umbrella also from Umbrellastand.com.

3. Called swingpacks, hip bags, hippies, crossbody bags, etc, doesn't matter...I want one. Mostly as a useful tool for traveling, lightweight, safe as it is slung across my body, and in a nice cognac-colored leather (or faux-leather...just not a fabric that absorbs stains) or maybe black. Especially useful I think for the traveling D and I will be doing this fall in Curacao in the Caribbean and next summer in Asia. The following bags are in a variety of price ranges from the outrageous Coach bag to an affordable Nine West bag. While I do admire designers and branded items, I do not usually put much stock in buying expensive designer items on my student, part-time job budget, but this one is beautiful and subtle. From left to right, Coach Madison Leather Hippie from Macy's, Nine West Even Better Crossbody Bag, Small also from Macy's, and Michael Kors Moxley Cross-Body Bag from Dillard's.
4. Anything Anthropologie, though three pieces in particular are speaking to me to make one fabulous fall outfit (October rehearsal dinner perhaps?). The earthy corduroy pants are something different from my usual jeans and have a nice autumn feel and weight to it, but the bright cotton top is still warm-weather appropriate for my hot hometown and can be paired with a lightweight cardigan for cool nights. The shoes in a muted blue help bring the pop of color from the top throughout the outfit. The items are a little on the pricey side, especially the pants, but similar styles can easily be found for cheaper as fall approaches - I'm not a spending, splurging nut! Left to right: Wildflowers-in-Flight Top, AG Everett Corduroys, and Pin-Up Pumps.
5. Just in case number 4 on this list was a little too fall-oriented for the beginning of August, I have some wishes for some cute, loose-style tanks perfect for summer and perfect for a tropical honeymoon. Left to right: BKE Scoop Flower Tank Top from Buckle, Daytrip Chiffon Trim Tank Top from Buckle, Rosette Relaxed Top from Forever 21, and Floral Back Slub Tank from Forever 21.
What do you think? Any items on your wishlist right now?

I love the green polka dotted umbrella, the black Coach Madison bag, everything you picked from Anthropologie, and the yellow top from Forever 21. :) Ahh!
ReplyDeleteLol glad you like some of my picks! I have the Coach Madison bag in a larger size that I got as a graduation/birthday present, so when I saw the crossbody bag, I thought it was simply wonderful too!
